This is my project page "Tax My Gas Please!", advocating tax hike on gasoline, with the revenue going to energy conservation, alternative energy investments/tax credits or even cash rebates for middle/lower class people. This will so disrupt the petroleum demand, that the petro price may actually fall as a result.
